Mood Light

After exploring different circuits using a breadboard, LED’s and some batteries, I wanted to make a mood light coded with arduino, which would be capable of fading into different colours. As a beginner to coding, I found arduino super interesting as it encompassed interactive elements with unique visual aspects, coded uniquely to how the user desires. I embarked on designing a circuit with an RGB LED, which included the LED, 220 ohm resisters and jumper cables. Codes were established in arduino to set the colour values and the variables that would alter the colours into different hues. I made a simple vessel to place over the breadboard so the light would be diffused using aluminum and vellum paper.

Process

Below are videos of process work leading up to the mood light, along with videos of the mood light with its two separate modes. I was learning how to use circuit boards and to create circuits for different functions, along with integrating Arduino into the circuits.
